The blades should be updated to the current BIOS and firmware levels. Also update the SAS daughter card to the current firmware level.
About this task
The HS12 blade contains two hot-swap drives that you must mirror. These drives are for the operating system portion of the EBS installation.
- To create a mirror, press Ctrl-C during post to enter the LSI configuration program.
- Select the onboard controller.
- Include the two internal drives in a mirrored pair as shown
in the following graphic.
