The default RAID level that is applied to a logical drive depends
on the number of drives in the array and the controller type. These
default values are designed to match the default values of the express
configuration method in ServeRAID Manager
where applicable. The following table shows the default RAID values
that PRAID uses when
AUTO is specified for
raidlevel.
