Customizing the Advanced Settings Utility

Before installing the operating system, you can configure system settings for the target system by using the Advanced Settings Utility (ASU).

The Linux Scripting ToolkitServerGuide Scripting Toolkit, Linux Edition provides a sample ASU settings file that can be used to deploy system settings by loading the default settings on the target system. The Toolkit uses the ASU batch command to configure the system settings on the target system. Refer to Advanced Settings Utility for more information on the settings and configuration file.
