To create customized tasks for deployment, you can modify
tasks that you have created.
Linux Scripting Toolkit provides
sample tasks for all supported task types. Although you cannot modify
or delete these tasks directly, you can use them as the basis for
a new task. To create a customized version of a sample task, you must
first create a new task by using an existing task as a template. Then,
you can edit the new task.
Follow these steps to modify existing user-created tasks.
- To start the Linux Scripting Toolkit Console, enter: ./opt/lnvgy/sgtk/sgtklinux.sh.
- From the navigation menu, select the type of task that
you want to edit.
- Select the task you want to edit.
- Click Modify.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click Apply.
The edited task is available from the task library.
