for the Linux Scripting Toolkit source
server.
Hardware requirements
To act as a source
server,
Linux Scripting Toolkit requires
a PC-compatible computer with the following attributes:
- 512 MB of memory
- Sufficient disk space to store operating system files, applications,
updates, and configuration files
Linux Scripting Toolkit also
requires that the target server for the deployment have at least 1
GB of memory.
Software requirements
Linux Scripting Toolkit source server
requires the following software:
- One of the following operating systems:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1/SP2/SP3/SP4
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2
or later
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 U2
or higher
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 U1 or later
- Media creation software that copies the created ISO images to
disc
- Application software:
- Net File Share
- Firefox 2.00.14 or higher
- Linux software
packages:
- Python 2.4.2 or higher
- Python-xml 2.4.2 or higher (for SUSE Linux)
- NFS-utils 1.0 or higher
