This topic describes the variables used by ServerGuide Scripting Toolkit, Windows Edition and explains how to customize them for your server.
Even if you accept the other defaults as part of the installation, it might be necessary to change the server name variable to match your server.
The default value for DHCP is Yes, indicating that Toolkit will use DHCP to obtain IP addresses. If you use the default value for DHCP, it is not necessary to modify any of the other IP address variables. If you choose to use static addresses, you must check the other IP address variables to ensure that they are appropriate for your network configuration.
