Adding UpdateXpress System Packs

Follow these steps to add LenovoUpdateXpress System Packs (UXSPs) to the source tree.

1. Download UpdateXpress System Pack for the desired machine type and operating system combination into the source tree in the updates\uxsp directory.
   When downloading multiple UXSPs for multiple machine types, place them all in this directory. When the UXSP installer runs, it automatically selects the appropriate files. If you are prompted to overwrite existing files, click OK.

   Note: Do not change the names of any UXSP files or make any changes to the case (uppercase and lowercase) of the letters. Changing the file name or case can cause the UXSP deployment to fail.
2. Set the UpdateXpress environment variable to Yes in the NOS Installation Settings section of the scenario .ini file you are using for this deployment, if you are using UXSP for this deployment.
