Updating the distribution points for an operating system installation package

Update the distribution points for an operating system package to make the package available for deployment.

  1. Launch Microsoft Configuration Manager 2007 to open the Configuration Manager console.
  2. From the console, open the Computer Management > Operating System Deployment > Operating System Install Packages.
  3. Right click one of the operating system install packages and click Distribution Points from the context menu to add, remove, or change a distribution point for a package.

    The distributed packages are now ready for deployment.
